If you want to have fun with your kids this Halloween, then the Yo Gabba Gabba costume of DJ Lance is a perfect match for you.  You will want them to wear one of the costumes of the other interesting characters from this wonderful series that airs on Nick Jr.

You want your kids to display good manners.  You want them to play nice with other kids and get along with people.  You absolutely will  not tolerate them egging houses or wasting toilet paper in the yards of those neighbors who don’t want to give them candy.  Because that’s not what the Gabba Gabba show is all about.

The adult Yo Gabba Gabba costume that you will no doubt want to wear is a very bright orange.  It comes with a shirt, pants, and a wig.  The shirt is orange with stripes in its center.  Two of them are white and are broad and in the very center.  The other two are bright yellow and on either side of the white stripes.  The shirt sleeve cuffs are trimmed with that same yellow color.

The pants are that same familiar bright orange color that will make you and your costume immediately recognizable.  And the individual who has been living under a rock will have the nerve to ask you who you are dressing up as.  The pants come with a belt that has a buckle that says “Rock” as in DJ Lance Rock.  The pant leg cuffs are trimmed with a bright yellow.

The wig is just as bright and cheery as the rest of the costume.  It is that same bright orange with a star in the center of it.  It is a double star.  It is a bright yellow star superimposed over a bluish silver star.

Yo Gabba Gabba Background

The Yo Gabba Gabba show is beloved by both children and most importantly by their parents.  When this show started out on Nick Jr., there was a bit of disillusionment with children’s programming not just because of the excessive violence of the programming but also because of the lack of effort to teach young kids valuable life lessons.  Even though you still had shows like Sesame Street, these shows didn’t really have  a strong following.  Network execs wanted to satisfy the desire of parents for children’s programming that was much more wholesome while still commanding good ratings.  That’s where the Yo Gabba Gabba  characters came in.  Characters like Dj Lance, Brobee, Plex, and Foofa.  These silly looking characters were a hit among kids and even college students.  Kids like Yo Gabba Gabba episodes so much I believe because of two reasons.  Dj  Lance has a genuine love and concern for kids.  And secondly, he wishes he were still a kid himself.
